Founder's Statement

The inspiration behind Pillaris Legacy Holding LLC (PLHL) comes from my father’s story. Born into a family of farmers in Haiti, both of my parents grew up in an environment where education was seen as unnecessary—even a waste of time and energy. But my father thought differently. He dreamed of learning to read and write, and even aspired to become a philosopher. His father refused to send him to school, and in a time when education wasn’t free, the odds were firmly against him.Driven by strength and intelligence, my father worked the fields and sold his labor to fund his own schooling. By the time he could afford it, he was already an adult and only reached the second year of primary school. Still, he pressed on. He left the countryside for the capital, learned construction, brick making, and metalworking. He built a life with his hands—crafting doors, windows, and furniture—and became a self-made man.

He had three children, and he made it his mission to give us what he didn’t have: education, opportunity, and belief in our potential. His life was a model of resilience, and his deepest lesson was simple: help others, and build something that lasts.Pillaris Legacy Holding LLC is my living tribute to that lesson. This company exists not just to offer products or services—but to honor my father’s journey and to build something enduring, for myself and others.PLHL stands on the principles of strength, vision, and resilience. It is a structure designed to protect, grow, and multiply meaningful ventures—starting with the publication of my first book, and eventually supporting the work of other independent voices.The name “Pillaris” represents something solid. A pillar. A legacy. Something that will outlast us—built to serve others, and built to last.
